Aventurine is one of April’s common birthstones.  I’m still not sure whether I will be able to do diamonds.  They are the primary birthstone for this month, but I don’t own any, certainly no loose or rough diamonds.  They are too expensive to be practical for stone work anyway.  Aventurine, on the other hand, is very easy to acquire, and a wonderful stone to have.  This week, I’ve focused on Green Aventurine, though you can find peach, blue, yellow, and red varieties as well.

This is a good week for money luck and optimism.  Though I worked more hours than normal this period, I have a doctor’s appointment to save for in a couple months.  Nothing bad, just my usual thyroid checkup.  Money luck for me will mean having the discipline and contentment to put the money away and not touch it.  With my Nerd Fitness plan, that’s going to be pretty easy.  I’m not compelled to buy junk food as much as I was before.

Either way, I’m excited to get the new month started, and pleased to report that I’ve lost 15 pounds on my journey so far.
