Stone of the Week: Citrine

citrine

I may catch some criticism over this one, because I don’t think any of the citrine in my collection is natural citrine.  I have plenty of gorgeous created stones that started out as rich amethyst.  After all the pictures were taken and the graphic was created, I debated whether to use it or choose something else for this week, and try again when I have some natural pieces to photograph.  But here’s the thought that moved me forward: we charge crystals under moonlight and cleanse them in water and smoke.  Why wouldn’t heat and flame be just as powerful?  You haven’t ruined the stone.  You’ve amplified it.  It took the heat and came out golden, and that’s the lesson that this stone teaches.  Let this post be proof that even created citrine can give you the confidence to move forward.  Be strong and fearless under fire.
