I’m pretty excited about the August bag.  Maybe it’s because my birthday is in August and I stocked up enough points to pack this one with extras.  Maybe it’s because I’m getting a number of things I really want to try.  I don’t know, but I have a pretty good feeling about this one.

OFRA Cosmetics Lip Liner: (color: Wine) – $13.00 This is the only item I’m not sure about.  Lip liners are nice, but I don’t wear such dark colors very often.  Of course the ipsy tip was to fill the whole lip and top with lip gloss.  Saves me hunting down a good lipstick to match it.  I predict 3 out of 5.

JUARA Skincare Turmeric Antioxidant Radiance Facial Mask: full-size $35, ipsy sample $3.50 This sounds so interesting.  Turmeric?  In a mask?  I like masks, and this one is a pore minimizer, so I can’t wait to see what it can do.  I bet it smells spicy too!  Hoping for at least 4 out of 5.

tarte Deluxe LipSurgence™ Skintuitive Lip Gloss in Energy: full-size $19, ipsy sample $3.52 I’m ready to give tarte another try.  Everyone praises the brand highly, but my only experience with them has been mascara that was non-waterproof (doesn’t do well on my eyes), and left crumbs all down my cheeks.  I swear, when I find a brand of something that doesn’t fall and give contour to my under eye puff, I become a loyal customer.  Tarte hasn’t gained that from me, but I’m hoping they have something else to offer me.  I’ll wait with a 3 out of 5 for my prediction.

Marc Anthony Nourishing Argan Oil of Morocco Oil Treatment: full-size $7.99, ispy sample $3.31 I have pretty high expectations for this one. I had a Marc Anthony hairspray in my very first ipsy bag, and it was great.  This is the oil treatment version of that argan oil hairspray.  As long as it makes my hair smooth and not greasy, we’re in business. I anticipate a 4 out of 5.

Starlooks Luxe Longwear Eye Liner Pen: $19.00 Here’s an item I got excited about.  I enjoy Starlooks products.  I have not had the chance to try a liner pen yet, but I find the concept very appealing.  Crossing fingers that longwear, while not waterproof, will still offer the same hold.  I’d love a sharp, durable wing.  This has the potential to be my 5 out of 5.
