I’m shocked!  I got the nail polish after all!  I’m also ecstatic about the mojito lip balm.  But these things came at the cost of that Velvet 59 lip gloss I had my eye on.  I guess I’ll just have to read and watch the reviews and decide if it’s something I should buy.  Now, it’s research time!  This is one of my favorite parts of the wait.

Hey Honey, Take It Off! Exfoliating Honey Peel Off Mask – full size 50ml for $35, ipsy size 10ml ~ $7  I have to be careful with this one.  Last time I used a peel mask, I had an allergic reaction that left my face itchy, splotchy and painful.  I really want a good mask, though, and thankfully this one comes in a tube.  I can do a spot test and if it’s not going to work for me, I can give it to someone else, unlike those little foil packets.  But I reallyreallyreally hope this works!

Hikari Cosmetics Mechanical Eyeliner (Storm) – full size $13 Yes, I said I didn’t need more eyeliner and there were a couple other things from Sneak Peek #1 that I really hoped I’d get *cough*Bellapierre*cough*LashFood*cough* but it’s been a while since I’ve had a brand new mechanical eyeliner.  They always work great for me. I find them much softer and smoother than wood pencil eyeliners, and easier to control than liquid liner.  This one will be a slate grey, which I likely wouldn’t buy for myself, even though I should.  I normally go for black liner, which is classic, but also a harsh extreme for daily wear.  This product has real potential.

Malin+Goetz Mojito Lip Balm – full size 10g for $12, ipsy size 7g ~ $8.40 I want this now!  This company is more on the medicinal side of cosmetics, and I can’t find anywhere other than etsy to buy a mojito lip balm.  I am blissfully excited about this item, and I’m hoping it’s a good mojito scent/flavor.  If it’s icky, I’ll cry (okay, not really, but I won’t be able to give it my 5 stars).

Pacifica Natural Mineral Coconut Eye Shadow (Ethereal or Treasure) – not available through brand website, other colors available .055oz for $3.50 as part of a 4 shadow set, ipsy size .08oz single ~ $5.09 Well, at least they didn’t double up on the eye shadow for me.  I predict I will receive Treasure, because it will fit right in with my Brightening Bare fairy dust and my Submissive eye base.  Bonus, though, I have a matching eye base to hold onto this mineral shadow, so I won’t be fussing about how mineral shadows don’t stay or aren’t bright enough.  Win!  I also scope out this brand every time I visit Central Market.  I love their roll-on perfumes, but it is a pricey brand.  It’s nice to be able to sample their shadows outside the normal palettes of four.

Probelle Into the Blue Nail Lacquer – full size $6 Not the fanciest brand of polish, no, but most of the colors I own were cheap drugstore brands.  I prefer variety to longevity, because my style changes so much.  I can say this will be a new color for me.  Wowzers!  I see this color being more of an accent for me, maybe with some of my purple and burgundy shirts.

Now, let me take a moment to say I’m glad I didn’t get the primer, the eyelash curler or the shimmer lotion.  I’m stocked up on primer, shimmer lotion won’t do me any favors right now, and the curler would sit in my big bin of things I’m not using right now.  It’s cute, but I imagine it’s only a matter of time before they send me one.
